"I have considered laser eye surgery but not seriously because of the risks and I have been waiting for the technology to improve or maybe when it's been around for 20 years or so. i-GO OVC lenses are just much better for really active people and they are a brilliant ALTERNATIVE TO EYE LASER SURGERY.
For me Laser eye surgery still seems like a new technology and I would want to see if there are any long term side effects before I seriously consider such a drastic treatment. The beauty of i-GO OVC lenses is that if I want to I can simply stop wearing them and my eyes will revert back to their original state.
I am shortsighted - around -2.0D - and my optician Shelly Bansal recommended I try i-GO overnight contact lenses to improve my vision and I felt they were safe because of this. I own the The Snowboard Shop in Fleet and hence I am a keen snowboarder. Monthly lenses were uncomfortable and always dried out and did not sit properly on my eyes - so much so that I couldn't wait to get them out at the end of the day.
When riding down the slopes too fast on my snowboard my contact lenses would occasionally fall out. I also love surfing, which is a problem with lenses in. I can now wear ordinary sunglasses which is good and I don't need to carry spare lenses. i-GO OVC lenses are just much better for really active people and they are a brilliant ALTERNATIVE TO EYE LASER SURGERY if you don't want to take the risk. Once you have had laser surgery it is all done and dusted".
