Short-haul - as you are not wearing any contact lenses the air conditioned environment on a plane is more comfortable for the yes and you don't need to worry about taking solutions on board which is a problem if you forget the 100 ml rule
Long-haul and Sleeping Onboard - air-con is not a problem when wearing iGO OVC lenses whilst asleep as the eyes are closed, well lubricated and not exposed. Lenses are taken on board in a lens case and the liquid inside is only 5mls. If you don't get enough sleep in your lenses and your vision is not quite good enough when you get off the flight your lenses can be re-inserted for driving etc.
Winter Holidays
Getting your face covered in snow doesn't result in loosing your lenses or them moving around in the eye.
Prescription glasses will steam up so when they are removed you will not be able to see. You can wear normal sunglasses or goggles which saves money
