Ortho k lenses could help those who are nervous about finding out they have eyesight issues.
Many Brits are putting their eyesight at risk by not visiting an optician regularly enough.
That is according to a survey by Transitions Optical, which found that only 41 per cent of Brits are getting an eye examination at least twice a year.
Despite findings, sight was viewed as the most important sense of all by those surveyed, with 65 per cent claiming it is the sense they fear losing most.
For those who are worried about being told they have to wear glasses or get
laser eye surgery, there is another option - ortho k lenses.
With
ortho k, wearers need never wear glasses or contact lenses during the day, which is great for people who are scared about the results of their exam.
Unlike
laser eye surgery, which carries an element of risk and side-effects, ortho k lenses are completely reversible, meaning a wearer can stop at any time.
If you are worried about the results of an eye examination, remember that ortho k lenses could be a choice for you.
