England's second match in the Women's Rugby World Cup ended in an emphatic victory on Tuesday with an 82-0 win over Kazakhstan. This was the second round of the Women's Rugby World Cup pool games at Surrey Sports Park in Guildford and a convincing show of strength.

England, who defeated Ireland 27-0 in their first game last weekend, put on a very strong display.

Richmond's Fiona Pocock, was named Woman of the Match and scored a hat-trick of tries as did Charlotte Barras.

England Head Coach Gary Street said: “It’s really pleasing to get a result like this, especially in these windy conditions. We have still got to look to iron out some errors so there are things to work on but Kazakhstan certainly put on a physical and committed performance tonight."

Wasps and England lock Jo McGilchrist who was rested for this match will play rugby for the second time without her contact lenses on Saturday against the USA.
