Winter sports moments can be remembered with new camera-equipped skiing goggles
The most memorable of winter sports moments can now be captured forever with new skiing goggles which allow the wearer to shoot video on the slopes.

Liquid Image has built the skiing goggles, which feature a built-in still and video camera and are due to be released soon.

The ski goggles can capture around two hours of footage and have 16 gigabytes of memory.

Retailing at $150 (£92), they are part of a series of new releases which include swimming goggles and diving masks equipped with cameras.

Daniel Silveira, a Liquid Image spokesman, said: "They're limited on space so there's only so much technology we could cram in there but it will do video and it will do photos in a lower quality format."

People who require prescription sports goggles can find it hard to find the right eyewear for activities such as skiing and swimming and may be unable to wear these cool new devices.

Short-sighted people often experience discomfort resulting from having to wear contact lenses or glasses along with goggles while participating in sports.

The wind and cold temperatures on the slopes can give skiers who wear contact lenses dry eyes and eyewear can fall off or get damaged.

Swimmers who have prescriptions will find that contact lenses can become contaminated and wearing glasses is near impossible.

Ortho K contact lenses are the perfect way to eliminate the discomfort, dry eyes and inconvenience of wearing contact lenses during sport.

Over night contact lenses are worn while asleep. They gently reshape the eye and are taken out in the daytime, resulting in natural vision without the need for glasses or contact lenses.

Ortho K contact lenses also mean that you can look your best on the slopes and invest in the sports eyewear to suit your style.
