When playing any game that involves a ball, keeping an eye on it is important.
The issue is particularly prevalent in tennis, where the ball could be flying at speed.
The problem of wearing
contact lenses for sport was highlighted yesterday (September 7th) when one tennis player had to take time out.
According to Sky Sports, while playing at the US open Radek Stepanek needed to take a break to apply his contact lenses, a no doubt irritating and tiresome necessity for many sports players.
However, had he heard of
orthokeratology lenses, he may not have had such a problem.
The special overnight correction lenses are only worn at night and removed in the morning, with the wearer able to see clearly throughout the day without any need for contacts or sports goggles.
They can be an excellent alternative to sports players who are worried about
eye laser surgery complications too.
