Parents concerned about children's vision need to visit optician
The importance of getting an eye check for children has been highlighted by the Daily Mail.

With children back at school, now is a great time to be thinking about their vision and finding out if they have any problems.

If your child is struggling with reading or writing or experiencing headaches, it can be a clue to visual issues.

Many children might be concerned that they may have to wear glasses in school, but parents can rest assured that there is an alternative option - orthokeratology.

Ortho k lenses are great for shortsighted people and children can benefit from being able to play sport or socialise free of glasses or day wear lenses.

Orthokeratology lenses are worn at night and gently reshape the cornea while asleep so that natural vision is restored in the morning - once removed there is no need to wear them again until the evening.

It can provide great relief for parents, who will be able to control when their child puts their lenses in and takes them out.
