With the end of the school summer holidays just around the corner, many parents will be starting to think about their child's eyecare.
No mum or dad wants to think about their kid struggling in school because of poor eyesight.
Now, two vision professionals from Edson in Canada have suggested that
children are increasingly turning to contact lenses.
Jo-ann Rupert, branch sales advisor at Edson Pearle Vision, said that it was important that parents are aware of all the options.
Ortho k could be one great option that many parents may not have considered.
Orthokeratology lenses are worn at night, helping to gently correct the shape of the cornea so that the wearer sees the return of
natural vision when awake.
The eye is corrected for the whole day, meaning that a school child would not need to wear glasses or day wear contact lenses, a great plus for the classroom and playing field.
