Want natural vision and worried about Lasik? Try ortho k
An ophthalmologist at Gleneagles Hospital has given his advice after a woman complained about puffiness of the eye after Lasik eye surgery.

The anonymous woman claimed that the left eye felt "more tired, heavier and drier" than her right eye.

Dr Fong Kee Siew, writing on AsiaOneHealth said that although such an issue can happen to women as they get older and after Lasik surgery, there are things that could be done to alleviate problems.

Noting that eye gels could be one way to solve the problems, he also suggested that ocular lubricants could help.

Lasik eye surgery is an invasive procedure and anyone looking for an alternative that is unlikely to leave any problems could consider ortho k lenses.

The lenses, which are specially developed to be worn at night, allow for users to be free of any visual aids in the day and are a great way of helping natural vision return without having an operation.
